UNC School of Medicine Match Day

Members of the UNC School of Medicine Class of 2019 will receive sealed envelopes containing letters sharing where students will continue their training as resident-physicians. Match Day ceremonies are coordinated to occur on the same date and time throughout the country, finalizing the complex process to match the nation’s graduating medical students’ preferences with program preferences. UNC Dance Marathon – Carolina For The Kids

The Carolina For The Kids' fundraising efforts culminate in a 24-hour no-sitting, no-sleeping UNC Dance Marathon held in the spring on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill. Each year, over 2,000 students pledge to remain on their feet for 24 hours to show their support for the patients & families at UNC Children's. The UNC Dance Marathon, which started in February 1999, is their largest event with the most student involvement than any other event throughout the year.

Reelin' for Research is a year round fundraising effort benefiting the UNC Children's Hospital that culminates each year with an offshore fishing tournament in Morehead City, NC.
