UNC’s Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine is composed of a team of clinicians, scientists, and scholars who are dedicated to advancing knowledge of lung disease and critical illness and improving the lives of patients with serious lung disease and those who are critically ill through exceptional, multi-disciplinary clinical programs; cutting edge research; and innovative education.

Philanthropy plays a critical role in supporting the activities of the Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine. Gifts from alumni, patients, and friends help us train tomorrow’s physician-scientists, make advances in the diagnosis and treatment of lung disease and critical illness through research, and achieve the best possible outcome for patients.

Support the Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine

Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine Excellence Fund
The Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine Excellence Fund provides one of the most important sources of revenue to the Division – gifts that are unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts are among the most valuable because they allow the Division Chief to allocate funds wherever the need is greatest, and to take advantage of unique opportunities as they arise.
