We must fund professorships to recruit and retain the outstanding faculty who will train the next generation of expert caregivers. We must create research fellowships that enable our scientists to move breakthroughs from the lab to the bedside. From supporting continuing education for nurses, to sponsoring lectureships for the public, our donors will enable UNC Medicine to improve health in local communities and around the world. Exceptional teaching faculty and classroom excellence define our educational mission. We must fund research that fuels instructional innovation. By strengthening our teaching mission, we produce graduates prepared to make an impact on every aspect of human health in every region of the world.
